Born and raised in the Mon Valley, Bobby Crafton is no stranger to the area. The son of locally known musician Bob “Crafty” Crafton, Bobby has worked within the Western PA music industry for almost a decade. Bobby has worked with various local bands and taught students for nine years. Bobby has also worked with the creative arts teams of multiple churches, including Orchard Hill Church and The Bible Chapel.
Bobby holds a bachelor’s degree in Student Ministries with a minor in Music Performance from Geneva College and currently works as the Worship Director of The Bible Chapel Rostraver Campus right here in the Mon Valley. Bobby is passionate about developing musicians and is excited to utilize that passion within the Mon Valley Academy of the Arts.
Lessons are held at MVAA’s Corporate Office at 309 5th St., Charleroi, PA, at the Sam Bill School of Music (housed at the Peter J. Daley Cultural Center AKA MVAA South) at 119 Brownsville Ave., Brownsville, and at other locations TBA in Washington, Fayette, and Westmoreland counties depending on instructor availability and the lesson type. Lesson days and times are scheduled by arrangement with the instructor and MVAA staff.
