Jaime Ursic (she/her/hers) is the Program Coordinator at Mon Valley Academy for the Arts (MVAA). She is an artist and museum educator who develops, implements, and administers interpretative programming for diverse audiences of all abilities.

As an artist dedicated to community building in rural Western Pennsylvania, Ms. Ursic is driven by the belief that art possesses the unique ability to nurture empathy, understanding, and resilience. In her creative pursuits, she aspires to kindle a profound sense of belonging, promote open dialogue, and ignite positive social interactions. Her goal is to forge a community space where art functions as a catalyst for connection—a mirror that reflects our shared unity—and a bridge that brings us closer, one brushstroke or mark at a time. Ms. Ursic has taught studio art courses at Yale, Wesleyan, and UCLA Extension and presented learning workshops at Yale University Art Gallery, Yale Center for British Art, Getty Center, Getty Villa, Long Beach Museum of Art, LACMA, the Guggenheim Hermitage, and Las Vegas Museum of Art. She led the School Programs and Partnerships team at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, MO, and the Learning team at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh, PA. She earned an MFA from Yale School of Art, a BFA and BS in Art Education from Pennsylvania State University, and completed an MS in Museum Education Leadership at Bank Street Graduate School of Education.
