Mon Valley Academy for the Arts (MVAA) invites the community to experience the beauty and tradition of Ukrainian egg decorating at “Pysanky in the Penthouse,” taking place on Wednesday, March 25, from 6:00–9:00 PM at the Peter J. Daley Cultural Center in Brownsville.

This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the centuries-old art of pysanky, a decorative egg tradition rich in symbolism and cultural heritage. Using wax-resist techniques and vibrant dyes, attendees will create their own intricately designed eggs while learning about the history and meaning behind this cherished folk art form.

The cost to attend is $25 per person, and all materials will be provided. The event will be held at:

Pysanky in the Penthouse reflects MVAA’s ongoing commitment to accessible arts programming for all ages and experience levels.
