On Thursday, September 10, supporters across the region will come together to invest in the nonprofit organizations serving our communities, and Mon Valley Academy for the Arts needs your help.
Our goal is to raise $60,000 to expand access to high-quality music education through EARS: Empower a Rising Star. This scholarship program removes financial barriers so young people can receive private music instruction and develop their skills, confidence, creativity, and connection to the arts.
Your Gift Creates an Opportunity
Every $25 contribution can provide one private music lesson. A gift of $250 can provide a student with ten lessons and the opportunity to build a strong foundation for continued musical growth.
The number of participants also matters. Gifts of $25 or more may help MVAA qualify for additional prizes through WCCF Gives, allowing every eligible contribution to have an even greater impact.

After watching, please share it with friends, family members, colleagues, and others who believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover what they can become.

Give Online on September 10
Online giving will be available from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10. Donations can be made using a major credit card or supported digital wallet through MVAA’s WCCF Gives campaign page:

Give by Check Before September 10
Supporters may also contribute by check, but the check and required contribution form must arrive at the Washington County Community Foundation by September 10. Checks must be payable to “WCCF” and accompanied by the official WCCF Check Contribution Form.
